Terms of Service

Last updated:

These terms govern your use of TLDR Money. They are written to be read, not to be survived. If something here is unclear, ask us before you agree to it.

1. Who you are contracting with

TLDR Money is operated by Sonal Systems Private Limited (“TLDR Money”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.

Sonal Systems Private Limited
CIN: U62099GJ2026PTC179785
A-3, Mehsana Nagar, Nizampura, Vadodara, Gujarat 390002, India
[email protected]

You must be 18 or older and legally able to enter a contract in India to use TLDR Money.

2. What TLDR Money is — and what it is not

TLDR Money reads the transaction alerts already in your Gmail, categorises your spending, values the assets you record, and projects a retirement date from those figures. It is an information and record-keeping tool.

TLDR Money is not financial, investment, tax or legal advice.

We are not a SEBI-registered investment adviser, research analyst, stock broker or mutual fund distributor. We are not an NBFC, bank, insurer or insurance intermediary. We do not recommend securities, and we do not tell you what to buy, sell or hold.

Every number the product shows — including net worth and any FIRE or retirement projection — is a calculation based on data you supply and assumptions we state. Projections are illustrations, not forecasts, and not guarantees. Decisions about your money remain yours. Consider taking professional advice from a registered adviser before acting on anything.

The same applies to everything on our blog: it explains how the arithmetic works. It is not advice about your particular circumstances.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.

You agree to give accurate information when you sign up, and to keep it current.

4. Connecting your Google account

To track transactions automatically, you grant TLDR Money read-only access to transaction alert emails in your Gmail. What we do with that access is set out in the privacy policy. In summary: we read those messages to compute your numbers, and we cannot send email, delete anything, move money, place trades, or open accounts.

You can revoke this access at any time from your Google Account permissions, or by disconnecting inside the app. Revoking it will stop automatic tracking.

5. Subscription, trial and billing

TLDR Money is funded by subscription alone. We do not earn ad revenue, referral fees, brokerage or distribution commissions.

TLDR Money subscription plans, prices in INR and billing frequency.
PlanPriceBilling
Monthly₹299Every month until cancelled
Annual₹1,999Every year until cancelled
Founding member₹999 for the first yearA limited early-user rate for year one

Trial. The 14-day trial gives full access and requires no card. Because no card is taken, nothing is charged when it ends — the trial simply stops. You are only ever charged when you actively choose a plan.

Renewal. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel first. We will tell you before a renewal charge where we are required to, and you can turn off renewal at any time.

Taxes. Prices include or attract GST as applicable under Indian law.

App store purchases. If you subscribe through the Apple App Store or Google Play, that store handles billing, renewal and refunds under its own terms, which take precedence over this section for those transactions.

6. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time from inside the app. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again.

You can export your data before you go. See the privacy policy for deletion.

7. Acceptable use

Use TLDR Money for your own personal finances. You agree not to:

8. Availability

We work to keep TLDR Money available and accurate, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may take the service down for maintenance, and features may change, be added, or be withdrawn as the product develops.

Automatic tracking depends on third parties — Google, banks and card issuers — and on the format of the alerts they send. If a provider changes or stops sending those messages, tracking may miss transactions. Check the numbers that matter to you.

9. Intellectual property

The service, the software, the TLDR Money name and the site’s design and written content belong to Sonal Systems Private Limited. Your data remains yours; you grant us only the permission needed to operate the service for you.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, TLDR Money is provided as-is, and we are not liable for financial losses arising from decisions you make using the information it presents. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

11. Suspension and termination

You can stop using TLDR Money and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or where we are required to by law — and where we reasonably can, we will tell you why first.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. If a change is material, we will update the date at the top and notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Vadodara, Gujarat have jurisdiction over disputes arising from them.

14. Contact
